How to Prepare for a QHHT Session
1. Prepare a list of direct questions that you would like to ask your Higher Self written neatly or typed on a piece of paper and bring it with you. Do not bring them on a device, such as a phone or iPad. A common number of questions is usually around 10-20. Make sure to put your questions in priority order in case we do not get through all of them. Generally questions are in the following categories, but there are no rules.
Life/Spiritual questions
-
What is my purpose in life?
-
What lessons am I meant to be learning in this life?
-
I've had a strange event happen in my life (missing time, ufo sighting, lucid dream). What is the meaning and significance of this event?
Relationship questions
-
Will I find my soul mate or a meaningful romantic relationship in this life?
-
I have a difficult relationship with my spouse, child, sibling, friend. Why is this, and how can it be healed?
Career questions
-
What type of career is most in alignment with my Higher Self?
-
I'm having difficulties in my business or job. How can I work towards a more balanced, happy, financially successful career/business?
Health-related questions
-
How do I lose weight, quit smoking, eat more healthy?
-
I have pain or physical illness. What can I do to move into alignment with health and vitality.
2. Drink water. Surprised? Don’t be. Water equals consciousness! You can think of your body as a type of battery that if well maintained can facilitate a strong connection to and communication with other realms. Hydrate. Start now and drink water before and also during your session. Do not worry a bit about needing to use the restroom. FLOW is a good thing! Drink in your intentions, release all that does not serve you. You can begin with your very next glass of water.
3. Caffeine: Limit your use of caffeine the day of your session. If you normally have 2 cups of coffee in the morning, just have one. The intention is to go into wonderful state of deep relaxation.
4. No recreational drugs or alcohol: The night before & the day of your session don't drink alcohol. A session will not be conducted if the client is under the influence of drugs, alcohol or any other substances that alter their state of awareness. Do not take any pills to relax you. This may jeopardize the success of the session.
5. What to eat: Our session could go up to 4 or 5 hours so you should something light before you arrive for your session. You may want to pack a snack for after the session too.
6. Your conscious mind may be present during the session. You might start to get images, impressions, and visions while your conscious mind doubts their validity and attempts to resist the process and information. This is pefectly natural, but you can gently tell your conscious mind silently that everything is ok and it can remain an observer. Then, let the information come through anyway. Trust your first thoughts and impressions and allow yourself to speak them. Pretend it is like recalling and describing a dream where no immediate validation or interpretation is necessary to recall the details.
7. Get a good night's sleep: If you meditate, do so the morning or day of your appointment to help clear your mind. If you don’t meditate, then do something that calms you like taking a nice relaxing walk, petting your pet or listening to some soothing music. You might want to try a light, self-guided past life regression, such as Michael Sealey's free video.
8. Dress very comfortably with loose clothing, minimum amounts of jewelry and go easy on the mascara. Tears are very common, they are “release mechanisms” and are most welcome.
9. Your session: Your session is confidential. It will consist of a brief interview process where we will go over your list of questions and discuss any questions you have about hypnosis. Afterwards we will begin the actual hypnosis session. As a strict rule there can be no one else in the room during your session. If your spouse, child, parent, etc. drive you to the session, please make sure they are aware that they will need to leave and come back to pick you up after the session is complete. The entire process could take anywhere from 3-5 hours.
10. Your session will be recorded: The actual hypnosis session will be audio and/or video recorded and you will be provided with a copy. I will edit the recording and send you a link to download your session once it is completed. You may decide to share all or part of your session or keep it confidential at your discretion.
11. After Your Session: Since you will most likely be in a very relaxed state after your session you should not schedule any work, long drives, or strenuous activities directly after your session. You may want to eat something to ground yourself.
Do not listen to your session while you are driving. However, when you get home you can listen to your recording as many times as you like. It is recommended to listen to it at least 3 times.
For about three days after the session the connection to your Higher Self will remain open so pay attention to your dreams because your Higher Self will find it easier to communicate with you through dreams.
Sometimes it can take some time to process everything that has happened during a session, especially when many meaningful things can happen in such a short period of time. Pay attention because important information may be coming through to you when you least expect it and you don't want to miss it! Since the vibration of your Higher Self will also be recorded, you will continue to receive insight and self-healing any time you listen to the recording of your session.
12. It is common to have doubts and questions after a session. Most people shift back into the conscious state of mind that denies all but the physical side of reality. You may think that you made it all up. This is natural, but try to remember the insights and information that came through during the session and focus on the connection you felt with your Higher Self. It will be beneficial to go back to the recording to remember the power of the Subconscious mind.
